I make no apology for the quality of the following photograph. My class were having a ‘Cakes and Bakes’ sale to raise money for their Summer Term Swimming Lessons. Here are their ‘BISKITS’ !
Basic biscuits
They used REAL electronic scales, REAL piping bags and REAL piping nozzles! Our recipe was given to us by Julie in the kitchen, who also kindly baked them for us:
12 1b plain flour
8 1b butter
4 1b sugar
That simple!
Cream the sugar and butter and then mix in the flour. Add flavourings, if required. We liked strawberry!
Make sure you take turns by singing the following:
“Stir stir this a’way,
stir, stir that a’way,
stir, stir all the way,
and THEN you pass it on”
We made £104 great British pounds… well done Team Class 15!! Thanks to all staff who kept leaving donations – we kept coming in in the morning and finding fifty pences everywhere!
